WORKING PROCESS

Organisers of Russia House at the World Economic Forum 2017 in Davos were represented by Ulmart and the Roscongress Foundation.

Russia House published a daily newspaper in English for visitors of the Forum and Russia House containing information on the past events and announcements for the current day. One third of the materials was devoted to investments, another third part – to the operation of Russian companies and the rest of the materials – to Ulmart activity.

It was Ulmart who was responsible for writing the texts and layout, while SmartScape’s key task was to edit and proofread the texts in the night in a very short time between the “writing” and “publishing” stages.
Editing was performed by the native speakers, USA citizens, as readiness to work at night (Moscow standard time) was the key requirement.
Due to various technical and human factors the materials for editing were usually provided later than they should have been resulting in a smaller amount of time for us to edit them. “Night manager” responsible for supervision of this project coped with this task in a timely manner by distributing the work among editors from the USA who were not involved in the project.

RUSSIA HOUSE

The main goal of Russia House creation is to show that Russia is open to dialogue and cooperation and focus on the business successes.

Russia House saw a range of business and informal meetings devoted to the 4th Industrial Revolution and economic development of Russia in conditions of the growing “digital” economy.

During the World Economic Forum Russia House was visited by a record number of top-level guests: more than 3,000 people, including government officials, directors of international companies, representatives of the investment community. Among its guests there were such people as Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund; Pavel Durov, founder of the social networking site VK; as well as the leaders of the largest global enterprises like Ernst & Young, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, SUN Group, Carlsberg Breweries A/S, Deutsche Bank AG, Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo ESSA.
